What we collect
- Account info — name, email address and password (or Google sign-in).
- Profile info — photos, videos, instruments, genres, song lists, zip code, travel range, pricing, availability and bio.
- Contact info — the email and phone number you add to your profile.
- Activity — gigs you post or respond to, bookings, messages, reviews, saved musicians and searches.
- Payments — handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
How we use it
To run MusicSubz: show your profile in search, match song lists and distance, connect venues with musicians, deliver messages and notifications, process memberships, and keep the site safe.
Who can see your information
Your public profile is visible to visitors. Your contact email and phone are only shown to the other side after a booking, or to members with Hiring Access. Messages are visible only to the people in the conversation.
Text messages and phone numbers
We only text members who check the opt-in box on their profile, and we record when they agreed. Reply STOP to stop texts at any time. We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers or text opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. See our Text Message Policy.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run the site, including hosting and database services, Stripe for payments, and Twilio for text messages. They only use your information to provide their service to us.
We don't sell your data
MusicSubz does not sell your personal information.
Your choices
You can edit or remove your profile information at any time, turn off text alerts, and ask us to delete your account. Some records (like payment history) may be kept as required by law.
Security
Photos are stored privately and shown through temporary links, and access to your data is restricted to you and the people you interact with. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password.
Children
MusicSubz is for people 18 and older.
